This extraordinary journey takes you deep into the heart of the Scottish Highlands – to where rugged coastlines meet dramatic mountains, where mist hangs over ancient castles, and where stories of clans, heroes, and tragedies come alive.

Even the journey there is part of the experience: After comfortable home pickup, we travel to Amsterdam. There, a DFDS Seaways ship awaits us for an overnight crossing to Newcastle. We round off the evening relaxing with a lavish buffet. Alternatively, comfortable air travel with pickup in Glasgow is possible. After a restful night in an outside cabin and a pleasant breakfast on board, our grand adventure towards the west coast begins in the morning.

Nature, Myths & Grand History

We travel along the legendary Loch Lomond and through the majestic valley of Glencoe – the site of the famous massacre of 1692. The "Hills of Glencoe" appear dramatic and awe-inspiring.

In Fort William, we look up at Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis.

A special moment awaits us at the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct – impressively situated above Loch Shiel – as well as at the historic Glenfinnan Monument.

We visit the romantically situated Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland's most photographed castles, as well as the ruins of Dunstaffnage Castle.

High above Oban stands the striking McCaig's Tower – with fantastic views over the harbor and island world.

Island Dreams in the Atlantic

A ferry crossing takes us to the enchanting Isle of Mull with the colorful port town of Tobermory and a visit to the traditional Tobermory Distillery.

On the legendary whisky island of Islay, we experience peat smoke and salty sea air during a guided tour of Laphroaig and another distillery of your choice.

In Campbeltown, we visit the renowned Glen Scotia and enjoy Scottish hospitality at the traditional Ardshiel Hotel.

Another highlight is the journey to the magical Isle of Skye – wild, mystical, and spectacularly beautiful. From there, we cross over to the charming Isle of Raasay with a visit to the modern Raasay Distillery.
