A Delightful Start to the Adventure

Your journey begins with ease: with home pick-up in Saxony or Thuringia – or at an agreed meeting point – we'll set off together towards Amsterdam. In the afternoon, we'll board the ferry and leave everyday life behind.

As we watch the departure from the Sky Bar, the special feeling of travel already begins. A rich dinner buffet and a relaxed breakfast the next morning ensure a perfect start. From Newcastle, we then continue into the impressive landscapes of Scotland.

Home in the Highlands

Depending on the group size, you will stay in a cozy cottage or a comfortable hotel during the trip. From here, we will explore the Eastern Highlands and Speyside – a region full of contrasts and character.

On the Trail of Whisky

Speyside is world-famous for its high concentration of distilleries – and we will delve deep into this traditional world.

A special experience is the visit to Glen Garioch Distillery, one of the few distilleries that still uses traditional malting floors. In other renowned establishments such as Benromach, Cairn, and Tomintoul, you will gain exciting insights into the production and the diversity of flavors.

Another highlight awaits you at Speyside Cooperage – Europe's largest cooperage. Here you will experience first-hand how the barrels that give whisky its character are made.

Coasts, Nature, and Culinary Experiences

In addition to whisky, the region also offers impressive natural experiences. We will visit the charming fishing villages of Cullen and Lossiemouth and explore the spectacular coastal landscape around Bow Fiddle Rock.

The easy hike leads through an impressive scenery – and is then rewarded with a traditional specialty: Cullen Skink, a hearty Scottish fish soup.

History That Moves You

This journey also takes you deep into Scotland's eventful past.

At Culloden Battlefield, you will feel the tragedy of the last great battle of the Jacobites. At Fort George, you will experience the impressive military presence of the British Crown.

Another historical highlight is Dunnottar Castle – spectacularly situated on a cliff and once the resting place of the Scottish Crown Jewels.

Through the Cairngorms and to Charming Towns

Our route takes us through the impressive Cairngorm Mountains – part of Britain's largest National Park. Here you will experience the vastness and tranquility of the Highlands in their most pristine form.

We will also visit the traditional town of Braemar, known for its Highland Games, and the whisky center Dufftown.

Moments of Enjoyment and Special Places

This trip also has a lot to offer culinarily. In Huntly, we will enjoy a stylish dinner at Duncan Taylor's Bank House – including a visit to the impressive bar.

The beautiful Glen Grant Gardens also provide relaxing moments – a green oasis in the heart of the whisky region.
